The Milan menswear shows have come to a close after a a five-day whirlwind of tailored suits, sumptuous fabrics and textiles and, of course, some of the best menswear looks to hit the runway.
In true Milanese fashion, leather bags and refined footwear were the predominant accoutrement throughout the collections.
When it came to accessories and footwear, designers relied on bold patterns and embroidered details to enhance the dark suits, loose trousers and over-sized coats on display. Salvatore Ferragamo and Fendi showed fur-lined brogues and fluffy bags in bright saturated hues, injecting just the right amount of playful color into the season's pieces.
Whether it was Dolce & Gabbana's embroidered briefcases or Vivienne Westwood's patchwork shoes, richly colored accessories had a major moment on the runways.
